General Info

Here you can find general information about Stacey Hill Jewellery, as well as links to more detailed pages about shipping, bespoke orders and jewellery care.

  • Due to the handmade nature of my jewellery there may be minor imperfections. These make each piece uniquely yours and add to the handmade aesthetic of my jewellery.

  • I offer a bespoke service. For more information, please visit the dedicated Bespoke page

  • In line with our sustainable practices, most pieces are made to order, however I do have limited amounts of stock ready to ship. This varies from week to week.

As a guide, if your order is in stock it will be dispatched the same week. Please note that my week is split between working from my studio and my home office, so I cannot always post out on the day you order, even if your item is in stock.

If your order needs to be made, as a guide, allow 1-3 weeks for it to be made in brass or sterling silver. Gold vermeil may take up to an additional 3 weeks as the plating process is not done in house. However, I aim to get your orders made and despatched as soon as I can, and your order may arrive before the specified time frame.

For bespoke orders, the lead time is approximately 4 - 12 weeks.

  • As a small business sustainability is important to me. I work with recycled metals, brass, silver and gold, sourced from ethical UK suppliers. Any manufacturing services I outsource such as stone setting, gold plating and engraving are carried out by independent skilled artisans, here in the UK.

For more information please visit the dedicated Sustainability page.

  • With the right care your Stacey Hill jewellery should last for many years, but it may need some TLC from time to time. Contact me by email: hello@staceyhill.co.uk or use our contact form here for a repair/refurbishment quote.

I do not carry out repairs on jewellery that I haven’t made.

  • The best and most accurate way to find out your ring size is to go to a professional jeweller and ask them to measure you. I am happy to measure you in my studio and I love meeting my customers. Please contact me first to check my availability at my studio. Be aware that changes in body temperature can cause your ring size to fluctuate temporarily. Also your ring sizes will not necessarily be the same on your left or right hand.

The next best way to check your ring size is to use a reusable plastic ring sizer. I sell these from my shop in Manchester and they will be coming to the website very soon!

It is your responsibility to provide me with the accurate ring size information. Ring re-sizing may incur additional costs.

For rings from the main collections, I have used a Small, Medium or Large option. These are based on popular high street ring sizes M, P and S respectively. Other sizes are available on request, just select custom in the dropdown and enter the required ring size, if known.

  • Most pendants come on either a 16, 18 or 20 inch chain. As a guide, 18 and 20 inch are my most popular chain lengths.

If you are interested in a different chain length or style, please email me: hello@staceyhill.co.uk or use our contact form and we can discuss options and prices.
